A Free Day of Family Fun

Air Expo 2008 ~ Saturday, April 26th
Gates Open at 9am!

Charleston Air Force Base will be host to a free day of family entertainment during Air Expo 2008! Our main attraction are those birds of thunder, THE USAF Thunderbirds! The Army’s Golden
Knights
parachute team will perform daring freefall
jumps from dizzying heights during the day. Also scheduled to perform is Patty Wagstaff, flying one of the most thrilling, low-level aerobatic routines in the world. Her breathtaking performances give spectators a front-row seat view of the precision and complexity of modern, unlimited hard-core aerobatics.

Additionally, we will showcase a variety of aircraft from historic warbirds to modern-day fighters. Another "don't miss" event making its grand appearance is the Boeing 747 Dreamlifter of which there are only two in the world! See more info on aircraft demos, click here!

This event is open to the public and is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Air Expo 2008 gives the community the opportunity to get up close and personal with its military heritage. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and admission and parking are free. Don't miss out on Charleston's Air Expo 2008!
