We had over 650 volunteers working the 2011 Air Expo Show on 9 April to help ensure its success. Our volunteers came from all over; they were our military members, DoD civilians and community members, and of course, the crews from the various performers. We could not have done this show without our volunteers and we could not have done it without our sponsors, sixteen in all. All performers are great and that F-15 is one awesome flyer! Taking that much G's, that's what I call an air show performance. Charlston AFC did a graat job in parking and leaving also, I'm looking forward to 2012.

The airshow was great! I would have liked the F-22 to have perform. I hope next year the F-15 eagle can perform a mock one fast fly by. I can't wait for 2012.

The show was fabulous but I was most impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the military personnel working at the event. I spoke with a young man who was directing traffic wearing a flight suit. I noticed he was a 1st lieutenant and told me he was a pilot of one of the C-17s. A pilot and and officer helping out by directing traffic! Says a lot about the quality of our military!

I love the air show so much! i wish they did have the b-52 and c-5, but it is alright. i love how you were able to tlak to the pilots! it was a great experience. OH yeah, y did the f-22 not fly? i was really sad about that! great overall though! great experience!

It was the best air show that I have been to in a long time. I love the variety of the classic war birds and the modern planes. I just wish that the B-52 and C-5 were on display.

My father was stationed at JB Charleston in the 60's and again in the late 70's. It was a joy to attend the Air Show with both him and my grandson. Brought back many fond memories and the show and facilities were excellent. Thank you for providing such an opportunity for the public to see the sacrifices offered by our military. I enjoyed every aspect of the show and I'm more proud than ever to be an American!
